A native of New York, Nick grew up in Queens on the north shore of Long Island. He attended City College of New York and transferred to the State University of New York College of Environmental Forestry at Syracuse University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies, Magna Cum Laude in 1976 and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Magna Cum Laude in 1977. He was a recipient of the American Society of Landscape Architects Certificate of
Honor in 1977.
Nick began his career early on at Environmental Design Associates where he has been a valued member of the firm ever since. His tenure at the firm has exposed him to all phases, types and scales of project development; ranging from residential to commercial projects and from preliminary design to contract administration. As a senior project manager one of his many responsibilities is to ensure that work is properly reviewed for quality and compliance with various regulatory agencies prior to leaving the office.
Nick is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) where he has served in the past as a Member-At-Large for the Connecticut Chapter Executive Board of the ASLA. Formerly certified in New Jersey, he is presently licensed to practice Landscape Architecture in both Connecticut and New York.
